Consul General of Sri Lanka in Shanghai visited WONTAI Group
In early March 2022, Anura Fernando,the Consul General of Sri Lanka in Shanghai,and his delegation visited WONTAI GROUP to exchange views on investment and cooperation between WONTAI and Sri Lanka in new energy fields such as photovoltaic power generation, wind power generation and energy storage plants.
Nan Yi accompanied Anura Fernando and his team to visit the WONTAI's exhibition Hall and gave a comprehensive explanation of vanadium flow energy storage technology.In the subsequent discussion, Nan Yi said that WONTAI has been committed to deepening the "Belt and Road" market, and Sri Lanka, as one of the earliest countries to join the "Belt and Road" Initiative, is a key market for WONTAI.
Anura Fernando pointed out that from the Rice Glue Agreement to the Belt and Road Initiative, China and Sri Lanka have a long history of friendly relations.He said that the all-vanadium flow energy storage technology route perfectly matches the current power situation of Sri Lanka, and welcomes WONTAI to invest in it.He also introduced Sri Lanka's clean energy investment policy, investment environment and cooperation model, saying that the Consulate General in Shanghai will continue to support WONTAI and promote the connection between WONTAI and relevant departments of Sri Lanka to facilitate the rapid development of WONTAI's business in Sri Lanka.
Zhou Jiali, head of International Business Department of Universal Energy, and Jie Fei, country head of Sri Lanka, attended the meeting.
