WONTAI Power Secures Another Patent, Enhancing Vanadium Battery Performance

The contact resistance measurement technology developed by WONTAI Power was officially granted an invention patent by the National Intellectual Property Administration.

Contact resistance refers to the electrical resistance at the point or surface where two conductors meet. It directly affects the efficiency of charge carrier flow between conductors and is one of the key factors determining the performance and energy efficiency of flow batteries. The new invention patent, titled "A Device and Method for Measuring Contact Resistance," provides measurement apparatus and methods with significant advantages including high measurement accuracy, user-friendly operation, and non-destructive in-situ testing. This technology can  effectively guide battery structure optimization, material selection, and assembly process improvements, contributing to battery energy efficiency.
