Wontai Power's Research-grade Single Battery Cell Achieves Current Density of 500 mA/cm²

Wontai Power's R&D team has achieved a major breakthrough in key technologies for vanadium redox flow batteries (VRFBs). Under conditions of room temperature at 25°C and a sulfuric acid electrolyte system (vanadium molar concentration: 1.65-1.75 mol/L), we successfully developed a research-grade battery cell capable of operating at a current density breakthrough of 500 mA/cm², with an active area of 50 cm² and energy efficiency ≥80%. This achievement sets a new industry record and provides an effective solution for developing high-power-density flow batteries.
