WONTAI POWER's Electrolyte Technology Granted National Invention Patent

Recently, WONTAI POWER's self-developed electrolyte technology for VFB was officially granted an invention patent by the China National Intellectual Property Administration.

The granted invention patent, titled "An Electrolyte, Its Preparation Method, and A VFB" features a core innovation centered on the introduction of N-vinyl amide polymers, successfully addressing a long-standing technical bottleneck in the industry. Through unique molecular structure design, this technology effectively resolves the instability of bismuth salts during cycling, prevents the formation of insoluble hydrolysis products, and thereby ensures sustained catalytic activity of the catalyst. Additionally, this technology significantly reduces the crossover migration of vanadium ions, greatly enhancing the stability of the electrolyte and the overall performance of the battery.
